Customise Your Bridal Look With The New Collection From Paper To Lace
Photography by Claire Juliet Paton and Kirsty Mackenzie
Paper to Lace is a London based bridal design label co-owned by Cristina Ruggeri and Becky Gunstone. They specialise in creating luxurious and ethically made dresses and separates for cool modern brides bridging the gap between romantic bohemian charm and slinky vintage glamour, brought up to date with clean lines and modern touches.
Paper To Lace designs feature a luxurious mix of quality silk satins, chiffon, crepe, and lace in our designs as well as exciting new eco-fabrics like bamboo and recycled polyester, perfect for sustainable brides. All of their pieces are customisable so you can create a completely unique bridal outfit for your wedding day.
The Paper To Lace girls have been making bespoke bridal for several years, so this collection has come about as a way of allowing brides the ability to create their perfect bridal outfit, with the freedom to customise each piece to suit them. Cristina and Becky strongly believe each bride should wear what they want on their wedding day and their outfit should be a reflection of their personal style and I wholeheartedly agree! My personal favourite is The Faye Jumpsuit with it’s relaxed tailored cut and sheer panels, so elegant and cool, especially with a bridal cape or even a veil.
The latest collection comes in two parts but all the dresses, separates, and accessories have been designed to combine with each other, so the bride can create her ideal bridal outfit. Made from quality silks and eco-friendly fabrics, everything has been carefully considered to make sure they feel as wonderful to wear as they look.
The Casablanca Collection is full of elegant shapes and clean lines, all made from luxurious silks. The balance of matte and shine, and sheer and opaque is carefully considered, keeping these pieces modern and chic, while still bursting with romance and glamour. This collection was shot in wilderness of the Scottish Highlands by Claire Juliet Paton. The models were transformed into Forest Queens, full of poise and elegance.
The Fortuny Collection evokes feelings of freedom and nostalgia. Full of shell-like textures with pearly sequins against luxurious silks, chiffons floating on the breeze, and delicate feather embroidery. This collection is for those intimate moments, just you and your lover. Promises made and stolen kisses, twirling barefoot in the sand. This collection was shot by Kirsty Mackenzie on the Kent coast, catching the golden sun of late summer.
