Who doesn’t love a house party? All you need is 2 people, right?! Perfect for a small wedding 🙌🏼

That was the inspiration behind this shoot - a retro disco house party! Real couple Elicia and Olly have been engaged for a year and lapped up every minute of their intimate magical day! It’s even made them consider a micro wedding in a smaller venue.

The shoot took place at the charismatic Bobby Fitzpatrick ‘s in London’s West End. You’ll feel right at home here and it’s the perfect spot for an intimate wedding. They can accommodate groups of up to 150 people and there is no venue hire! They work on a minimum spend basis and can cater for both food and drinks. It’s like having a house party ‘cept you don’t need to clean up after everyone!

Elicia and Olly kick-started their day by having breakfast and a cuppa together followed by some dancing in the kitchen. Why don’t couples do this every day?!

The decor inside is very 70s retro so it was easy for Christina of Rock The Dancefloor to compliment the style with gold star flooring and an abundance of gold & sliver shimmer foil, tinsel, disco balls, and fresh flowers from Gemma of Iris & Co.

Downstairs to an intimate dinner for two surrounded by greenery and some more dazzling shimmer. The botanical conservatory area is a real showstopper and doesn’t need much in the way of styling cos the miniature jungle speaks for itself and perfectly frames the setting. All you need is some candlelight and some adorable crockery from Your Plates or Mine and this is the ideal sweetheart table.

Of course, even the smallest of weddings deserve to shot beautifully to remember forever. Ian from Sidey Clark Photography is the man to take care of that! South East London based, Ian knows all the spots for an epic shot and specialises in documentary-style photography so nothing feels too posed or cringe!

The great thing about having a wedding in the West End of London is that you are never going to have to venture far on the day. After a few portrait shots on the streets of London the team then returned to Bobby’s for their intimate house party reception! Picture the scene…. your favourite music is playing, the champagne is flowing and you are free to dance on the tables!
